On January 16th 2015, Party Committee of the factory held the Party Members and Management Democratic Meetings for Year 2014 at the conference room, fifth floor, Office Building Block A. The meeting was presided over by Wang Jihua, Secretary of Party Committee and Deputy Factory Director, participated by management team and heads of general management and human resources departments.
Adhering to the unified plan designed by the Party Committees of Group and of SASAC, the meeting is keynoted as strictly living under Party rules, abiding by Party disciplines, fostering an anti-corruption atmosphere, and growing the factory in a healthy, uprising trajectory. In the meeting, all the attendees studied the policies issued by China’s Disciplinary Inspection Committee in the Fifth Plenum of Eighteenth Central Committee of CPC. Wang Jihua detailed the preparation work of the meeting, the result of soliciting opinions, the advice received, and the reform and execution of educational practices project. In the meeting, management team, in a devoted attitude for studying the policies, made a speech in sequences on identifying any problems incurred in the following aspects:
u executing democratic centralism,
u compliance with Party’s disciplines and eight rules constituted by central government,
u acting on feedback from central government’s supervision team,
u ten rules set by provincial party committee and government,
u compliance with fourteen rules required by Group,
u executing the “two suggestions” forwarded by party committee and
u undertaking responsibilities.
Speakers found any related problems in work, in mindset or in the party spirit, and thus made in-depth analysis on the root of problems, offering solutions respectively. In the meeting, attendees were able to criticize each other in a direct manner, in terms of Party spirit, work and self-discipline, helping the bearer to identify and analyze their defects and thus giving advice. Attendees did not go through the motions of criticizing each other, thus making a positive feedback to the meeting and initiating a beneficial loop of “first solidarity -then criticism - then solidarity”.
After the meeting, the party committee and management team conducted a detailed analysis on each problem identified in the meeting and collected in the early stage. They clarified top priority and issued a reform plan and a series of measures for solutions, including stipulating a memorandum of reform tasks and relevant schedule. In this way, reform responsibilities will be designated to individuals and urged for task done within a limited time, thus securing a good result from holding such meeting.
