For the purpose of enhancing lean management skills, learning creative thinking patterns and developing a working method, the factory held a two-day lean management training lectured by the famous consulting trainer Feng Rui. Participants include senior and middle management, college students and team leaders. 

The training is focused on four building blocks of lean management - on-site management, team authorization, Just-in-time and Kanban management. Feng Rui applied many cases and gave detailed explanations to the introduction of principles and the concept of lean production. He put priority in training production teams that designates team leaders to undertake a vital role in front-line production and encourages factory management to partly authorize team leaders in order to inspire innovation, increase internal competition, improve the working environment, enhance work efficiency and cut cost. Feng further initiated a brainstorm that helps trainees to identify any efficiency problems systematically from the sales to technology and to production. He built awareness for lean management among the trainees, pointed out the main problems that existed in each position and department, and offered solutions for gradual renovation. After the training, the factory will set up a different lean management goal in each month, called “lean management enhancement month”, in order to find a suitable lean management pattern in the days coming. 

Something difficult is solved in easy ways; something large is composed of something manageable. The principle of lean management lies in eliminating non-value-added activities occurring in the trivial manageable parts for increasing efficiency, shortening production cycles and improving product quality. The training aims to further execute lean management in gradual steps in the overall factory, in order to logically prevent any waste, pursuing the best, improving quality and efficiency, providing low-cost products to end users, seizing a larger market share, and increasing customers’ awareness across the world.
